About the event
This step of The Well Wagons journey, Building Connections Series, invites children to gently step beyond themselves and discover the power of connection, belonging, courage, and support. Through meaningful group activities, children explore what it means to be a good friend, how to recognise love and support within their family, and how they each hold an important place within their community. Along the way, they learn that bravery is not about being fearless, it is about showing kindness, resilience, and courage even when life feels challenging. Children will also discover how their own unique minds learn and grow, building confidence in themselves and their abilities. Most importantly, they are reminded that they never have to carry hard feelings alone, and that there are always safe people, tools, and places to turn to for help and guidance.
Across 6 engaging workshops, Tuesdays from 5pm-5-45pm, commencing 28/7/26 to 1/9/26. These all important connection lessons are designed for children aged 6 - 12 years of age.
The Friend in Me – Connect to Friendship
I Am Loved – Connect to Family
I Belong Here – Connect to Community
The Courageous Kind – The Warrior Approach
My Magic Mind – How Do I Learn?
Look For The Light – Where Do I Go For Help?
These heart-led workshops nurture confidence, emotional wellbeing, resilience, kindness, and self-belief reminding every child that they matter, they belong, and they are never alone.
“When children feel connected, they feel safe to grow, brave enough to try, and confident enough to shine.”
